Can a hangover, cold or gastritis weaken the effectiveness of contraception?

Good morning, can a hangover (after drinking alcohol), colds and gastritis in itself reduce the effectiveness of anti Levomine tablets? I am not asking here about medications (antibiotics) or vomiting or diarrhea, but about the same ailments during these "diseases" or, for example, by weakening the body, hormones may not be well absorbed.

No, a hangover, gastritis or a cold alone does not reduce the effectiveness of birth control pills. Birth control pills work mainly by inhibiting ovulation and preventing fertilization. Hangovers, i.e. ailments after drinking alcohol or colds, do not have a direct impact on the effectiveness of contraceptive pills. It is important to take birth control pills regularly and appropriately to maintain their full effectiveness. If you vomit within four hours of taking the tablet, or if you have severe diarrhoea, there is a risk that the medicine has not been fully absorbed by your body, which may affect its effectiveness. In such cases, it is recommended to consult a doctor and use additional contraceptives.
