How is Novynette used?
If I take a Novynette tablet on the 1st day of the cycle and continue for the next 21 days, the withdrawal bleeding will theoretically occur on the 2-3 days off, so the first cycle will be shortened and instead of 28 days it will last 23-24 days. And if I take on the 5th day, which is also allowed, then in each subsequent cycle I will have to take pills during the bleeding, i.e. 5 days?

When using the Novynette contraceptive pill, each cycle lasts 28 days, which consists of 21 days of using active contraceptive pills and 7 days break. When using hormonal contraception, there are no menstrual periods, but withdrawal bleeding. Such bleeding does not start a new cycle and ends the old one. The next pack does not start when withdrawal bleeding occurs, but 7 days after taking the last active tablet from the previous pack. If you start the first pack of the medicine on day 5 of menstrual bleeding, you should use an additional contraceptive method for the next 7 days of using the pills to ensure the contraceptive effectiveness of the medicine. The next pack begins after using 21 active tablets and a subsequent 7-day break.
