Can leg pain be a side effect of Slinda tablets? I used to take Evra patches, but due to leg pain I stopped taking them. After some time after discontinuation, the pain passed. Now I use Slinda tablets and the pain has returned - it is periodic, I would say more that it is a feeling of discomfort than pain. I did tests for blood clotting, dimers, doppler veins and limbs. Could this be a side effect of the pills?

I had got severe pain in my leg after 2 weeks of taking the Slinda, I tortured myself for over 3 weeks, thought it was a thrombosis. My gynecologist sees no connection and after stopping it took 2 days and the pain in the leg was gone.
I would never take Slinda again.
I started taking the slinda and got leg pain from day 2 on. Such a push and a pull. Was afraid that it was thrombosis and therefore discontinued it after 5 days. The feeling was also gone after weaning.

Theoretically, the summary of product characteristics does not mention leg pain as a possible side effect of the drug. However, leg ailments may be the result of circulatory disorders, which may be an adverse effect of hormonal contraception (although in the case of single-component pills - this effect is limited). If you feel discomfort despite the correct test results, a follow-up visit to a doctor is indicated, who will assess further possibilities of using contraceptive pills.
