Good morning. I am 66 years old, the general health is quite good, but for over a month I have been experiencing itching of one (right) labia majora. Itching is felt especially at night. I used Clotrimazole ointment, but it did not help. And one more thing, is Clotrimazole ointment the same as Clotrimazoleum GSK? Thank you

Clotrimazole is an antifungal ointment, if itching is caused by, for example, vaginal dryness, the use of Clotrimazole ointment alone may not be sufficient. Clotrimazole and Clotrimazole GSK are the same drugs (GSK is an abbreviation of the manufacturer's name GlaxoSmithKline). In pharmacies without a prescription you can buy many preparations for the so-called vaginal atrophy, i.e. a disease whose one of the symptoms is dryness and itching of intimate places. Here you can compare the prices of these preparations in online pharmacies and order the preparation with home delivery or collection at a pharmacy, e.g. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/115850/femimed-gel-kadefarm-nawilzajacy-zel-intymny-zel-dopochwowy/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/50569/mucovagin-zel-zel/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/109850/hexagyn-zel-dopochwowy-zel/apteki It is also worth taking care of the hygiene of the intimate tract using, for example, appropriate washing agents, e.g. https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/89230/provag-specjalistyczna-emulsja-do-higieny-intymnej-plyn/apteki https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/89541/iladian-40-zel/apteki If you do not observe an improvement, it is worth consulting a gynecologist.
