The possibility of using an "ordinary" paper prescription issued in Poland will depend on the regulations in force in a given country. This means that a pharmacy abroad may not fill such a prescription, even if it is located in an EU country. However, you can ask your doctor to issue a so-called cross-border prescription, which every pharmacy operating in the EU is obliged to fill (if the prescription is issued correctly and the medicine is available in the pharmacy).
