To @Aneta: No, goldenrod honey will not affect the operation of the contraceptive implant.

Aneta (Anonymous, 83.29.170.) 1 year ago

Does goldenrod weaken the effect of the contraceptive implant? Will goldenrod honey affect its action?

To @Aneta: This should not affect the effectiveness of the implant.

And can elevated levels of prolactin, which is not treated, weaken the effect of the implant?

For @Aneta: Hormonal contraception may slightly raise prolactin levels.

Aneta (Anonymous, 188.147.8.) 1 year ago

And can high prolactin levels be caused by the use of a contraceptive implant?

Aneta (Anonymous, 188.147.8.) 1 year ago

So I will have to use additional contraception while taking them?

Up to @Aneta: The prolactin test with metoclopramide will not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive implant. In turn, drugs used to lower prolactin (e.g. bromocriptine) may affect the effectiveness of hormonal contraception.

Hello, will the prolactin test with metoclopramide affect the operation of the contraceptive implant? Do possible drugs to lower the level of prolactin weaken the effect of the contraceptive implant?

For @Aneta: Cyclonamine tablets should be taken at approximately equal intervals - every 8 hours. The drug should be taken together with food, it is not necessary to observe a time interval from coffee.

Aneta  (Anonymous, 83.10.197.) 2 years ago

I have to take cyclonamine 500 when I have bleeding / spotting (side effect of the implant, I bleed a few days off and again) for the period of bleeding I have to take 3 x 1 tablet, what many hours should I take cyclonamine? And do I have to keep a time interval from drinking coffee when using cyclonamine?

Thank you, best ☺️ regards

To @Aneta: Cyclonamine does not interact with these medicines and does not weaken the effect of the contraceptive implant.

Aneta  (Anonymous, 37.47.87.) 2 years ago

Yes, yesterday I took the last dose of Biseptol 960 and I still use macmiror 500, I got bleeding then I can start using cyclonamine 500 3x1 tablet yes ? Will there be any interactions between these drugs and will this weaken the effect of the contraceptive implant?

To @Aneta: You can, if that was the doctor's recommendation.

Aneta  (Anonymous, 37.47.121.) 2 years ago

Thank you 🙂 and at the same time can I take cyclonamine 500, 3 x 1 in case of spotting ?

Yes, you can additionally disinfect the wound with Octenisept. These drugs do not affect the effectiveness of the contraceptive implant. On our portal you can compare prices of Octenisept in online pharmacies and place an order with home delivery or collection at a pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/87829/octenisept-aerozol-aerozol/apteki

And can I disinfect this place additionally with octanisept? Do these drugs affect the effect of the contraceptive implant?

Biseptol is a preparation with a wide spectrum of antibacterial activity, acting systemically. If the finger infection is caused by a bacterium sensitive to Biseptol, the preparation will also act on this infection.
