Over a year ago, I had an ablation procedure that removed my previous arrhythmias to single episodes. Yesterday I was prescribed Elicea in an initial dose of 1x5 mg, after a week 1x10 mg. Can ablation survivors take this medicine?

Elicea may cause arrhythmias (QT prolongation, ventricular arrhythmias) in some patients. For this reason, the use of this medicine should be consulted with a cardiologist. The specialist will assess your health after the procedure, you may need additional tests to determine whether the ablation procedure has sufficiently minimized the risk of arrhythmias and you can safely take the drug. If you do not have the opportunity to consult a cardiologist, I remind you that teleconsultations are available at GdziePoLek: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja/z-kardiologiem I enclose additional articles that may interest you: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/problemy-z-sercem https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/depresja
