Hello, What if I have part of the prescription to fill, there is no availability of the drug, and the prescription is about to expire? Can I do it later or not?

According to the new Regulation of the Ministry of Health of October 30, 2024, from November 7, 2024, it is no longer possible to obtain a prescription for medical marijuana remotely, i.e. on-line from the so-called "prescription machine".
This applies to both patients who are just starting therapy and those who are already using medical marijuana.
The exception is prescriptions issued by a family doctor in a primary health care clinic under the National Health Fund (excluding night and holiday care). Here, you can still use teleconsultations and thus receive a prescription without the obligation to make an in-person visit as part of the continuation of treatment.
From November 7, 2024, a prescription for medical marijuana can be obtained after a stationary visit to a cannabis medicine clinic or a doctor experienced in this type of treatment. Even if it is a prescription for continuation of treatment in a private clinic, an in-person visit is necessary each time to obtain a new prescription.
Here you can find a list of cannabis clinics, check the price of the visit and book a consultation date:
Every patient should have the right to grow their own marijuana in their own home (it's very simple, especially with auto strains)!!! And not to be constantly dependent on "pharmacy" supplies and be constantly burdened with huge costs of therapy (often 1000PLN+).

The pharmacist will not be able to fill an expired prescription. You did not write what drug you are talking about - the question is tagged with medical marijuana. If you cannot buy this drug in time, you will need a new prescription: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/kategorie/medyczna-marihuana
If the prescription expires, you will not buy it.
