There is no need for these medicines at the same time, as they contain the same active substance but in different strengths – 500 mg in Structum and 400 mg in Cartexan. This may expose you to unnecessary side effects and you will not feel a significant improvement in the effectiveness of treatment. The exception is when taking these two drugs at the same time was clearly prescribed by a doctor.
