In the case of a single consumption of alcohol during treatment with IPP 20, there is no need to inform the doctor about the situation - unless you have noticed any negative effects of such a combination. Nevertheless, the combination of PPIs, i.e. pantoprazole with alcohol, is contraindicated, therefore the described procedure (medicine in the morning, alcohol in the evening) should not be repeated.
