Hello, the gynecologist prescribed me Amotaks Dis 1 g / 2x1 In the swab came out escherichia coli- b.liczny, which is resistant to Amoxicillin / sq.clavulanic. Will this antibiotic work? The described situation shows that Amotaks Dis will have a bactericidal effect on E.faecalis and F.nucleatum bacteria. In my opinion, you should use the drug prescribed by the gynecologist. In order to dispel doubts about the prescribed antibiotic in the treatment of amoxicillin-resistant strain of E.coli, I suggest a second consultation with a gynecologist.
