Lozenges, e.g. Strepsils intensive and Rutinoscorbin, do not have clinically relevant interactions that would preclude their combined use with the medicines mentioned in the question. Multicomponent cold medicines, e.g. Gripex or Acatar Acti-tabs, containing pseudoephedrine or dekstrametorfan are contraindicated in such a combination of drugs. Pseudoephedrine can cause an increase in blood pressure. Thus, the current dose of propranolol will not be effective enough. It is better to replace pseudoephedrine with phenyramine, which does not have such an effect on pressure and heart function. It can be found, for example, in Fervex: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/29686/fervex-granulat-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki Drugs based on Paracetamol will also be safe, e.g.: Apap Cold https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/5696/apap-przeziebienie-proszek-do-wytworzenia-plynu/apteki The use of Paroxinor and dekstramethorphan at the same time may cause an increase in the concentration of the latter in the blood and the severity of its side effects. In addition, serotonin levels in the brain can increase excessively, which threatens the onset of serious disorders referred to as serotonin syndrome. Serotonin syndrome is manifested, m.in, confusion, agitation, fever, sweating, ataxia, hyperreflexia, muscle clonic seizures and diarrhea. This condition is distinguished by the so-called triad of symptoms, which includes: 1. Vegetative disorders, i.e. increase in blood pressure, fever, diarrhea, vomiting and mydriasis. 2. Psychiatric symptoms, consisting of anxiety disorders, feelings of anxiety and confusion. 3. Neuromuscular ailments, i.e. recurrent cramps, pain and increased muscle tone. If you observe such side effects, tell your doctor, who will decide on how to proceed. Paroxinor (paroxetine), Mucofortin (acetylcysteine), Acatar (pseudoephedrine) and Glucophage (metformin) can be used together, but this requires some caution and consultation with a doctor.
Paroxetine does not interact directly with acetylcysteine or pseudoephedrine, but pseudoephedrine has the potential to increase the risk of nervous system side effects such as agitation or insomnia, especially when used with medications that act on the nervous system.
Glucophage (metformin) also does not interact with these drugs, but it is advisable to keep time intervals to minimize the risk of adverse interactions.
It is important to always consult the use of such drug combinations with your doctor, especially if you have other medical conditions. When medications are used concomitantly, it is best to maintain time intervals, e.g. 1-2 hours between doses, to minimise the potential risk of side effects.
Can you use paroxinor with mucofortin, they do not react? Or Acatar in tablets? If I still use Glucophage 1000 x 1 a day? Can I take all these medications a day, but at intervals?
