Why is it recommended to stop using Tritace before the procedure at the dentist?

Good morning. I read in the leaflet of Tritace, that it is recommended to stop using it before dental procedures. I wonder why there is such a requirement? What is the risk of taking this medicine and using anesthesia in the case of tooth extraction? Please explain this problem to me. Yours sincerely. Ewa Lesinska

When using local anesthesia at the dentist, it happens that some patients experience side effects, such as a drop in pressure, arrhythmias. These are usually mild and transient side effects. I encourage you to inform your dentist about all the preparations you use. This will allow you to choose a safe anesthesia. Tritace should be used with extreme caution with other agents that may lower blood pressure. Possible discontinuation of the preparation should be consulted with a doctor: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/80006/tritace-5-tabletki/apteki I encourage you to read additional materials that may be useful: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czy-mozna-laczyc-leki-ze-soba https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/srodki-do-znieczulenia-miejscowego
