Amlozek may cause pain and swelling in the legs and increased sweating. Oedema may affect up to 1 in 10 people, while the other side effects mentioned are less common. If leg pain and excessive sweating are actually caused by taking Amlozek, they should disappear after complete expulsion of the drug from the body. The half-life of amlodipine (the active substance in Amlozek) is as high as 35-50 hours, so complete removal of the drug from the body should take place within about 2 weeks of discontinuation of the drug. Reporting side effects allows you to gather more information about the safety of medicines and update data about them, which can help other patients in the future. We wrote about how to report them here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane Side effects of drugs can also be reported individually: https://www.urpl.gov.pl/pl/produkty-lecznicze/monitorowanie-bezpieczeństwa-leków/zg elk-side-effect-0
