Can Prokit/Zirid be used if I am allergic to corn?
Good morning, I would like to ask what should I do in a situation when I am allergic to corn, and in the composition of the drug Prokit or Zirid, which was prescribed to me, it is as an excipient? Is there another substitute or other drug available with a similar effect to Itopride with a safe sKla? Thank you very much in advance.

From the information you described, it is not clear to what "part" of corn you are allergic. The plant can be an allergen in two ways, the best known being food allergy to corn grains, which are manifested by side effects from the gastrointestinal tract and skin lesions. Corn starch is not obtained from corn grains, but from white corn stamens. It does not have gluten, so it can be used by people suffering from celiac disease and is a common component of gluten-free and protein diets. Sensitizing can be not only corn grain, but also pollen. Symptoms of such an allergy are primarily a runny nose, coughing and wheezing. If you are allergic to corn grains, taking Prokit/ Zirid should not cause side effects.
