After using Pimafucin in early pregnancy, supplementation with probiotics is generally safe and beneficial. Probiotics help restore the balance of the vaginal and intestinal microflora, which may have been disturbed by antifungal treatment. Lactobacillus strains are particularly recommended because they support the production of lactic acid, creating a protective barrier against pathogens. Oral probiotics, as well as vaginal globules, can be used, but it is always worth consulting a doctor to choose the right preparation and dose, taking into account the individual situation of the patient.

Pimafucin globules contain an antifungal component (natamycin), which does not have a negative effect on the bacterial flora of the vagina. It is not absolutely necessary to use probiotic flora after the end of treatment. However, the use of bacterial flora can have a beneficial effect on health as a form of prevention of further infections and supporting the natural balance of the genital tract environment.
