Is an Ospen 1500 tablet twice a day the right dose for the treatment of angina in an adult?
Good morning. I have strep throat and I got a dose of ospen 1500-2 times a day for 1 tablet. I am an adult and weigh 85 kg. Isn't this dose too small?

According to the recommendations of the National Antibiotic Protection Program, up to 3 million IU phenoxymethylpenicillin / day should be administered in 2 divided doses every 12 hours for 10 days. One Ospen 1500 tablet contains 1.5 million IU phenoxymethylpenicillin. From this it follows that the recommended dosage is in accordance with the guidelines for the treatment of angina, and the dose is not too small. I got the same dose but every 8 hours, 3 times a day with a weight of 48kg. I took it for 10 days, already on the second day it improved.
