To @Katja:
When it comes to taking Recigar after a 5-month break, there are no contraindications to restarting therapy at such a time. As long as you are using it according to the manufacturer's recommendations, it is important not to exceed the recommended dose and to use the medicine according to the instructions in the leaflet.
Remember that quitting smoking is a process that requires perseverance. If Recigar helped you before, it may also be effective now.
Hello, how often can I take these tablets!? . I quit smoking 5 months ago. (that helped me very well) but unfortunately now I started again. I want to buy Recigar again now and my question is
can I take these tablets again after such a short time? Whether this is not harmful. Thanks in front of out.

In fact, for the first 3 days, the highest dose is used, i.e. 6 tablets a day every 2 hours. However, it is not necessary to take the first tablet immediately after waking up, and at the same time a few hours are not taken into account when we are still active and the full dose of the drug has already been taken. A very useful feature of the drug Recigar is the exact dosage regimen on the back of the blister, which makes it easier to maintain the correct dosage. I would like to point out that a strong decision to stop smoking is very important during treatment with Recigar. Cytisine, the active substance in Recigar, has properties similar to nicotine but generally weaker. Cytisine competes with nicotine for the same receptors, and due to its stronger bonding, it gradually displaces nicotine from them. Therefore, only for the first 5 days of treatment you can still smoke a cigarette, but later it is contraindicated, as it may lead to increased side effects associated with nicotine.
