For scarlet fever, Ospen is given, not Klacid.

Indications for Klacid include both upper respiratory tract infections (e.g. pharyngitis) and lower respiratory tract infections (e.g. bronchitis, pneumonia). So there are no grounds to stop the treatment. Please continue with Mucopect - the carbocysteine contained in it dilutes the dense secretion and facilitates expectoration. Cough is rarely observed in the course of scarlet fever. Due to the severity of the cough symptoms you mention, it is worth considering revisiting your doctor for auscultation. The possible administration of Nebbud can only be decided by a doctor after examining the child.
