The dose of cefuroxime (the active substance Zinnatu) for adults and children weighing more than 40 kg ranges from 500 mg/day to 1000 mg/day in divided doses depending on the condition. If the doctor has assessed that a dose of 2 x 500mg is necessary for the symptoms that the patient has, please follow the established dosage. The daily dose according to the Summary of Product Characteristics of Zinnat is not exceeded.
