Can Glucophage cause pressure drops?

Can Glucophage cause pressure drops? I have never had problems, my pressure was usually 120/80 and recently I started taking the drug and since yesterday the pressure of 90/60 and general weakness, to this of course a little "gurgling" in the stomach and flatulence from time to time. CY reduced pressure can be after this drug? And how to deal with it?

I have very low blood pressure since I increased the dose of merformin to 1500. Before that, I took 1000. Today I was 75 out of 49, yesterday 88 out of 54. Ultimately, I'm supposed to take 2,000 so I'm worried.

The active substance in Glucophage is metformin. Among the side effects when taking the drug, the most commonly reported were symptoms from the digestive system. Pressure drops were not seen while taking Glucophage, but studies are available that have shown the hypotensive effect of metformin. It is not possible to clearly determine whether the pressure drops are caused by the start of treatment with Glucophage or another factor. Please control the pressure, if problems with pressure drops continue to appear and hinder normal functioning, you should consult a doctor. Side effects are worth reporting, I attach materials on this subject and information that may be interesting: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane https://www.gdziepolek.pl/substancje/metformina https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czym-rozni-sie-cukrzyca-typu-1-od-cukrzycy-typu-2
