Will Octenisept remove HIV from the glucometer lancing device?

Hello, will octanisept kill HIV? If before the glucometer test I washed the lancing device with octanisept and changed the lancet after another person, is there any risk of infection? Best regards

According to the manufacturer's information, Octenisept inactivates microbes, including HIV, within 1 minute of application to the skin or mucous membranes. Octenisept is not a product intended for disinfecting tools and surfaces, therefore the manufacturer does not provide information on this subject. The risk of HIV infection after a lancet change is low, however, it exists and is a serious health consequence. In these cases, it may be advisable to take an HIV test.
