Can Pronasal cause redness of the throat?

Can the use of Pronasal lead to redness of the back wall of the throat? At the beginning of October, I had a sinus infection, I was advised to use Pronasal for the nose after it subsided. I have had a red throat wall for a month, it usually does not cause pain, but it is still reddened.

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the use of Pronasal may often cause throat irritation. In the first place, you can try gargling in a short space from the administration of the drug or taking fluids to "rinse" from the throat wall the remnants of the drug. If this does not help, during the next visit to the doctor, it would be necessary to mention the problem that has arisen. Until then, you can also try to use over-the-counter preparations in the form of lozenges, such as Cevitt Throat, Gelovox or Septinum, which will relieve the irritation that occurs.
