What probiotic to use during the eradication of H. pylori?

Hello, the doctor prescribed me Emanere4x1, Tetracyclinum 4x2, Metronidazole 3x1,Ulcamed 4x1 to cure helicobacter. As a probiotic prescribed Enterol250 but it is a drug for diarrhea and I do not have such symptoms. Is it possible to use any other probiotic? Unfortunately, after antibiotics I often get ringworm, so I would like to take a probiotic to prevent this.

To @dominik:

Probiotic supplements like Swanson Acidophilus and cranberry juice are generally safe, especially in standard doses. However, it is worth remembering that they can sometimes cause slight stomach discomfort, such as bloating or discomfort.

Ok, but in the case of such supplements and this juice, there are any possible side effects, can you safely eat it in a standard dose? :) I mean, it won't hurt?

To @dominik:

If your mother still has stomach discomfort after antibiotic therapy, you may want to consider Swanson Acidophilus. It is a supplement containing probiotics that can help rebuild the intestinal bacterial flora, which is especially important after a course of antibiotics. These probiotics support digestive health and may alleviate symptoms of dysbiosis.

Cranberry juice may also be beneficial, especially in the context of urinary tract health, but its effects on the stomach are not as well documented. Your mother's age (almost 70 years old) matters because older people may be more likely to experience side effects from medications and supplements.

Hello! My mother has a similar problem, but despite repeated antibiotic surgery, she still has this problem. in the stomach, he still has some discomfort related to it. Lately I've been reading the subject myself and looking for answers, as if it would help even more. Apparently it's good: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/117115/swanson-acidophilus-kapsulki/apteki and cranberry juice. Maybe the editor can advise? My mother's age is almost 70 years old, maybe it matters.

I encourage you to follow the recommendations of the attending physician. The use of Saccharomyces boulardii (i.e. the strain present in Enterol) increases the effectiveness of H. pylori eradication by about 10-14% and reduces the side effects of antibiotic therapy. If you really want to change your probiotic, an alternative can be HelicoGastrin, which combines 2 strains: Saccharomyces boulardii and Lactobacillus (L.) reuteri. S. boulardii yeast, inhabiting the digestive tract, can compete with H. pylori, while the L. reuteri strain has the ability to aggregate with H. pylori and eliminate it from the body. Such complementary, synergistic action of these probiotics means that by combining them with a standard set of drugs, a higher eradication rate can be obtained. I attach a link to the page where you can compare the prices of HelicoGastrin in online pharmacies and place an order with home delivery or collection at the nearest pharmacy: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/112638/helicogastrin-kapsulki/apteki
