Good morning. After knee arthroscopy, I was prescribed the anticoagulant Neoparin in autosyringes. So far, I have taken testosterone. The question is whether these two preparations will not exclude each other and whether taking them both will be safe? Best regards

You can combine injections with testosterone and the anticoagulant Neoparin. It is contraindicated to combine testosterone with oral anticoagulants, but there are no reports of combining testosterone with injectable drugs, including small-molecule heparins such as Neoparin. According to the manufacturer: "Testosterone and its derivatives have been found to increase the activity of oral anticoagulants. Patients receiving oral anticoagulants require close monitoring, especially at the beginning and end of androgen therapy. It is recommended to determine prothrombin time and INR more often."
