Is it possible to use a drug with promethazine while pregnant?
Hi I'm going by plane to pl if I can take phenergan 25 mg tablets during pregnancy 4tydz. I have a terrible motion sickness.

The use of the drug should be agreed with the doctor. According to the manufacturers of drugs with promethazine: "Epidemiological data testify to the safety of the use of promethazine in women during pregnancy. Animal studies also showed no significant hazards. Nevertheless, the medicinal product should not be used during pregnancy unless the doctor thinks it is necessary. The use of promethazine is not recommended during the 2 weeks preceding delivery, due to the risk of irritability and agitation of the newborn."
