It is possible that Nystatin irritates erosions in the esophagus. The drug may intensify the symptoms of erosion, so in the first place you can include a shielding drug, e.g. 2-3 hours after Nystatin, an over-the-counter drug with flaxseed or aluminum salts can be used.
