Can lipstick with lanolin lead to poisoning?
Good morning, is Ziaja lipstick with lanolin safe? I read that if too much lanolin gets into the digestive tract (by applying it to the mouth) it can cause poisoning.

To @Ola: This will not affect the effectiveness of birth control pills.
And if such a minimal amount would get into the stomach, does it affect the effectiveness of contraceptive pills?

No, lanolin does not cause food poisoning, especially in the amounts that are applied to the mouth. Even if small amounts of lipstick are swallowed - nothing bad will happen. You have no reason to worry.
