Is nausea and stomach pain a reason to stop taking Rybelsus?

Hello. I have been taking rybelsus 3 mg for several days. Unfortunately, he feels very bad after them. Nausea, stomach pains I want to vomit. I wanted to ask if anyone had similar symptoms and how they dealt with them. Wait or stop taking the medication?

Thank you for sharing your case. I suggest adopting an attitude of active observation. A dozen or so days is too short a time for the healing effect to fully develop. The first effects can be estimated after a month's therapy. However, discontinuation of the drug is possible only after medical consultation. Please do not do this on your own. I also encourage you to report the side effect to the attending physician if this has not already been done. Why it is worth reporting side effects we wrote here: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-i-dlaczego-zglaszac-dzialania-niepozadane According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, the most commonly reported side effects of Rybelsus are gastrointestinal disorders, including nausea (very common), diarrhea (very common) and vomiting (common). In most cases, these events were mild to moderate in severity and were short-lived. They were reported most frequently in the first months of treatment and were the reason for discontinuation of treatment in 4% of patients. With many difficulties but I arrived at the 6th month and mine has dropped from 7.9 to 6.2 ... so suffering is worth it... You have to eliminate fried foods and all irritable foods even if you don't have a completely stomach pain or sometimes in the nausea is really difficult

MBOT (Anonymous, 81.201.125.) 2 months ago

Yes Rybelsus is terrible
I was very sick and now after two months I have suspended... It's a week and if I don't eat at least every hour or every two hours I get an upset stomach. The problem is that I don't feel like eating and all the food makes sense to me!! but who invented is left to distribute this kind of crap? for me it is to be banned... A SHAME

I'm a veteran of weight loss drugs. But Rybelsus crawled over me, currently these abdominal pains etc are blocked pancreas, I haven't taken it for 2 weeks and I feel terrible, abdominal pain, lipase ok and amylase low, lack of digestive enzymes, alt low asat, ok. I probably blocked my pancreas, the doctor from the emergency department said that this was the last moment not to fall into chronic pancreatitis. Sugar surprisingly from the state just beyond the normal limit is low. Rybelsus also takes no prisoners. I'm putting it aside, I want to live a little longer

Hello I too like you I have a lot of nausea with rybelsus and I also take Slowmet 750 especially at night stomach acidity

Marmar (Anonymous, 5.179.166.) 3 months ago

Hello. I take Slowme 750 mgt twice a day plus Rybelsus 7mg for about ten days... I used to take 3 mg. Honestly, the 3 mg dosage that I took for more than 6 months did not give me major problems but this 7mg really feels very heavy..... nausea almost every day both on an empty stomach and after meals, and I also put ... and the same stomach ache. I have already been suffering from gastritis for some time and I think it has worsened as a side effect of the drug, I was taking homeoprazole as a gastro protector a cp. in the morning but now I try to take one in the evening on medical advice. In any case, if contact with the diabetologist continues to persist because this dosage is probably too high, it is better to consult with the specialist. I hope I have been of help to you. Good luck to the 🐺 .

Hello, I have been taking the drug for more than 2 months. I started with 7 mg, now it's 14 mg. I have stomach pains, nausea, after every meal I feel sick and I am afraid to eat anything at all. In two months I have already lost 6 kg, it is a great result, but at what cost. I can't enjoy life, I practically use a hot water bottle all the time because it is the only one that helps me with pain. I don't know what to do, I keep telling myself that I'll wait a little longer, maybe my body will get used to it.

I have been taking Rybelsus for almost 2 years now, I started with the minimum dose, 3 mg, immediately I started to suffer from nausea, bloating stomach and intestines, nausea periods of lack of appetite, diarrhea alternating with constipation, then I switched to 7 mg for another 4 months, same symptoms, nausea disappeared (it rarely shows up, especially shortly after taking the drug but much lighter than in the early days). At the moment, I have been on the 14 mg dose in combination with Xigduo for about 1 year. I lost about 8 kg from the beginning, the glycated has dropped from the initial 9.7 to 7.2 / 7.6 but from there it does not go down, the symptoms, although much more tenuous than in the early days are still all there, swelling and pain in the right colon throughout digestion, diarrhea alternating with periods of constipation, periods lasting 2 or 3 days, that occur once a month, nausea and lack of appetite (rarely vomiting), I fight swelling with activated charcoal, syncretin and a lot of exercise

In addition to vomiting and diarrhea, I felt unwell and had blood pressure spikes. I stopped taking the drug and slowly my body returns to normal.

I took RYBELSUS 3 mg for a month and before long I started having pains in my stomach and abdomen. Then I switched to the 7 mg one. Terrible..... Gas colic belly and stomach with severe pain. Yesterday I stopped it because I couldn't take it anymore! I will have a visit with my diabetologist in 10 days. I hope you will give me a medication with no side effects on the gastrointestinal system. Even with metformin I had this kind of problem.

I have the same after 3mg I was fine, now 7mg and it's a failure, I finish the first leaf and I can't do it anymore

Triphonos (Anonymous, 104.28.86.) 16 months ago

Hello. I am 61 years old. I started taking RYBELSUS nearly 2 months ago. In the first month, I took the 3mg pill. I was slightly nauseous for the first 3 days, and then it disappeared. When I staretd taking the 7mg pill, the nausea came back. But this time it was worse, I started being nauseous at all times. It was a real handicap. After 2 weeks of being sicked, I stopped taking the pill. Its being 10 days now that I have stopped and I am still nauseous. I can't do any stringent effort, otherwise the nausea is worse. The dr has proposed the injections as an alternative. he says they cause less nausea. has anyone any experience with this ?.

Hey. I've been taking rybelsus for half a year, I've lost 10% of my weight and I thought I'd stop and I could do it on my own. The regimen is 3mg a month and 7mg a month and 14mg thereafter. Regulars days with nausea etc but they were bearable. I stopped the bite at 2m 4kg they came back... The doctor said that we would start immediately with 14mg. The first donor felt unwell, the second was a tragedy today. After an hour, the vomiting began, which has been going on for several hours, I even return the water. It's 3 I'm awake, I have seizures, stomach pain, headaches, vomiting, nausea :/ You need to start taking this drug gradually, take your time. The doctor made the mistake of giving me 14mg right away, I hope it will all pass in the morning, wait a few days and go back to the 3mg dose.

I've been taking Rybelsus for 4 months now and it makes me feel really sick. The thing I can stand is the severe bloating in my stomach. I feel like I have a balloon acting as a stopper. In addition, too much air causes me continuous flatulence even in the mouth. I stopped the medication for a while to see if these problems were due to the medication and so it was because everything disappeared. Then I resumed and the same problem again. My doctor tells me that these symptoms will go away, but when?

Tip: take the medication early in the morning at 6 a.m., take only 150 mg of water, wait 2/3 hours before eating until the medication is properly absorbed. Do not take any other medication with it!
I then eat 2 wholemeal breads with cheese and ham and a cottage cheese and drink again after 1 hour, see very thin cherry spritzer with lots of mineral water. I really don't feel hungry all day and I don't have any side effects, it's really a phenomenon!! I had never known anything like it. The hot feet (which I have because of pre-diabetes) are gone. I'm not tired either. I lost 2 kg in 4 days. It wasn't complicated at all. These 2 kg are so much motivation that I will certainly manage the next 28 kg now, simply because the hunger is gone. I was always hungry. Now that's gone... So I don't eat. A very strange phenomenon, I usually only know something like this from fasting, because the Hubger goes away after 2 days. But you can't fast all the time, you shouldn't do it more than 2 times a year. Good luck in the future. 👍😏

After increasing the dose from 3 to 7 mg, I had such strong side effects that I decided to discontinue the drug.

Hello, I am 63 years old, the doctor due to the large overweight almost obesity and high sugar prescribed a dose of Rybelsus: 3mg for -10 days, 7mg-10 days, 14mg-10 days, after doses 3 and 7 I had no nausea and other symptoms, severe nausea occurred after a dose of 14 (I took 4 tabl so far) and are now smaller. In my case, the craving for food, especially large portions, decreased. Currently, after waiting 60 minutes. I eat B. a small breakfast, after which nausea subsides. Because of the initial 38.5 BMI, I try to eat foods with low GI. Unfortunately, due to knee pain, my physical effort is almost zero, due to the doctor's recommendations regarding the limitation of walking until the diagnosis of MRI knees, currently there is an ad hoc treatment of inflammation of the knees (probably my weight led to this - for the last 2 years I overeat!!! + recently high uric acid, which I have already dealt with, the doctor suspects joint degeneration, Now I am waiting for confirmation, and then for the appropriate implementation of physical exercise due to the possible degeneration of the knees). Despite the lack of exercise and much less appetite thanks to Rybelsus, eating products with low GI, giving up eating white products, and eating only small amounts of groats and bread without gluten (about 50-70g a day) after 24 days I lost 2kg., and blood sugar decreased. Maybe for someone it's not enough, but every organism is different. I do not give up, because in my case by overeating I led to a terrible state of health and pain, and now I see that everything I introduced thanks to the doctor works, and when it comes to physical effort, the effects will probably be better. I wish everyone perseverance and not giving up in the fight for their health and listening to their body.

Please do not interrupt, it will pass :) Probably a little different for everyone, but from my experience I can say that it is ok. I have been taking ribelsus for 6 months, I am on 7 mg. However, if I happen to overhaul with food, the ailments return, maybe you are in it? Is there no improvement if you eat less? Fingers crossed!

Elea (Anonymous, 95.49.84.) 2 years ago

I take 7 mg. I also feel bad, I think that with a longer time of use the body will adapt a little, but fatigue and nausea remain. And quickly after them lean also here is a plus and sugars about :) greetings and wish you perseverance
