The use of ginkgo preparations, such as Bilobil Forte, is not recommended in people with epilepsy treated with Tegretol CR. They may cause seizures and interfere with the anticonvulsant effect of carbamazepine (the active ingredient in Tegretol CR). If bilobil Forte is necessary, talk to your doctor.
