It is difficult to answer unequivocally without knowing the cause of nosebleeds. In principle, however, saline is pharmacologically neutral. In the case of nosebleeds caused by dryness of the mucous membranes, the application of saline after the bleeding has stopped can help clean the nose and moisturize it.
