Polopyrin Complex should not be taken with alcohol. Alcohol may increase the risk of gastrointestinal side effects, i.e. mucosal ulceration or bleeding. Simultaneous administration of alcohol with chlorophenamine (one of the active substances of Polopyrin Complex) can lead to the appearance of side effects m.in such as excessive sedation, dizziness, drowsiness. Therefore, it is safest to consume alcohol after eliminating the components of the preparation from the body. This time takes about 5 half-lives of the substance, i.e. about 5-15 days.
