Can I drink alcohol while taking Acitren?
Acitren and alcohol? For half a year of using Trexan I managed to drink and not bad happened, tests were done on an ongoing basis and everything was ok. What is the situation with Acitren?

According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, alcohol should not be used while using Acitren. This is associated with the risk of developing a highly teratogenic metabolite, therefore, in women of childbearing potential, the use of alcohol contained in drinks, food and medicines is not recommended for the entire period of treatment with Acitren and for 2 months after its completion.
