It is not recommended to use dietary supplements with Ashwagandha while taking fluoxetine (the active ingredient in Seronil). Indian ginseng can enhance the effect of antidepressants, and in combination with those that, like fluoxetine, affect the concentration of serotonin in the brain, even contribute to the onset of serotonin syndrome.
