How to interpret the result of the FOB test (for occult blood in the stool)?
I have a question whether the fob test from the pharmacy for occult blood is a faith or better to do the test in the laboratory today I did the test as on the instructions the result was negative but after the next 5 minutes appeared a dash in the field t little visible and if he would have a positive result is the lines immediately would be so. Please reply

The result of the FOB test for occult blood in the stool should be interpreted in accordance with the provisions on the packaging. Performing a home test (according to the instructions) gives reliable results. I encourage you to check on the packaging after what time you should read the result. A reading made after the time recommended by the manufacturer gives a false, diagnostic-free result.
