Taking the second dose of hepatitis B vaccine does not fit into any of the current schemes, so you should talk to your doctor about the possibility of taking the vaccine at this time: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja In the case of Engerix B and Euvax B vaccines, the standard vaccination schedule is 0-1-6, that is, the first dose: at any time, the second dose: 1 month later, the third dose: 6 months from the first dose. With the use of the above vaccines, an alternative, accelerated regimen is also possible: 0-1-2-12, that is, the first dose: at any time, the second dose: 1 month later, the third dose: 2 months from the first dose, and it is recommended to give a fourth dose after 12 months. Only for Engerix B has been approved a regimen for use in exceptional cases in adults from 18 years of age, when rapid primary vaccination is required within one month (e.g. before departure, before surgery) and it is not possible to use the classical regimen, three doses of Engerix B can be administered intramuscularly on days 0, 7, 21. If such a regimen is used, a fourth dose is recommended 12 months after the first dose. Good morning. I have a question about the standard vaccination schedule with Engerix B vaccine for adults - does the second dose have to be administered after 30 days or will it also be ok on the 28th day? Best regards
