I have hypothyroidism and insulin resistance. The doctor recommended Glucophage XR - is this a normal treatment?
Hi for several years I have been suffering from hypothyroidism, I take letrox 150, TSH is ok but the weight for 3 years stands still (120kg) the attending physician did a glucose test I had 5.7 max is 6 and said that I have insulin resistance ... He ordered to take glucophage xr 1000 once a day after a month 2tablets and come back in a year ... Is this normal in this case?? I read about this drug about this disease and I have doubts ...
