Can Ospen be used during pregnancy?

Hello, I am 5 weeks pregnant and the doctor diagnosed me with strep throat. I got the antibiotic Ospen1500 (of course I told him that I was pregnant) after the 3rd day of use there is still no improvement, plus a cough. What is wrong, can this antibiotic harm the baby?

So far, the effect of phenoxypenicillin (the active ingredient in Ospen) on pregnancy has not been studied, so its use is usually not recommended. Your doctor may recommend the use of the medicine after analyzing the benefits and risks of its use. If in doubt, please contact your doctor. Symptoms of the disease usually disappear within 7 days of treatment with the antibiotic Ospen. Taking the antibiotic should be continued for at least 3 days after the symptoms have subsided. I am attaching a helpful article: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jakie-leki-mozna-stosowac-w-ciazy
