Acne may affect up to 1 in 10 people taking Slinda, but hair loss may occur uncommonly in no more than 1 in 100 people. Statistically, therefore, in 90% and 99% of patients, respectively, such adverse effects do not appear. Slinda does not lower estrogen levels, but it is a pill without their addition. It contains only progestin (drospirenone), but there is no estrogenic component. The lack of estrogen can affect the hormonal profile of the tablet.
