Can Structum cause sleep problems?
I take drugs dilzem retard 120 X2 and mononite 20 x 1 and apotamis x 1 per day , the orthopedist prescribed me the drug structum 500 two x 1 after 10 days of taking this drug I have trouble sleeping. After reading the leaflet there are no such side effects or it may interfere with the drugs I take. Please help because the queue to the orthopedist is long.

I also noticed sleep problems when taking StuctumActive. They appear after 3-4 days of taking 1 capsule and disappear after a similar period of time after discontinuation.

Structum is a drug whose active substance is chondroidin sulfate. Although there is no information about sleep disorders in the leaflet of the drug, in the available literature you can find information about the occurrence of insomnia when using preparations with chondroidin. Structum does not interact significantly with Dilzem retard, Mononit and Apo-Tamis, it is important that doctors prescribing the above drugs have information about all the preparations used. If the side effect intensifies and hinders daily functioning, further therapy with a doctor should be consulted.
