Breastfeeding while taking Parogen is not contraindicated and can be considered after consulting a doctor. Paroxetine (the active ingredient in Parogen) is excreted in small amounts in breast milk. Serum concentrations of the drug in breastfed infants were undetectable or very low. Moreover, no signs of drug action were observed in them.
