I understand that it was about the drug Mydocalm. Allergy to the drug Mydocalm can result from both hypersensitivity to the active substance - tolmethisone, and to excipients. Methocarbamol is a medicine that contains the active substance of the same name. Excipients such as corn starch, talc, microcrystalline cellulose. They are found in both Mydocalma and Methocarbamol. These are excipients found in most drugs in the form of tablets. If there was no allergic reaction during the use of other preparations, then most likely the allergy is caused by the active substance Mydocalmu. However, we are not 100% sure here. Allergy to Mydocalm is not a contraindication to the use of Methocarbamol, these drugs contain various active substances. However, it cannot be 100% excluded that you do not have allergies to Mehocarbamol.
