Diseases of the blood and hematopoietic system (haematological)
Good morning, a few days ago the doctor recommended me neoparin, before that I used klabax - for a fairly deep wound on the calf. During routine tests, ALT and AST came out very elevated... Alt- 460, Ast-517. Is it possible that it is from the undercount of these drugs? I will add that Alt and AST have always been normal

Yes, elevated ALT and AST results may be caused by the use of Klabax and Neoparin. Clarithromycin (the active substance in Klabax) is metabolised and excreted mainly by the liver. During the use of Klabax, an increase in liver enzymes was noted, generally transient. Elevations in alanine aminotransferase and aspartate aminotransferase are among the adverse reactions of both Klabax and Neoparin. In order to interpret the results of blood tests, you should consult a doctor, since the profession of pharmacist does not have competence in this regard. I enclose the Summary of Product Characteristics of both preparations and information about the possibility of consulting research in the form of a teleporoade: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/40209/klabax-tabletki-powlekane/ulotka/127981 https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/92384/neoparin-iniekcja/ulotka/227631 https://www.gdziepolek.pl/telekonsultacja
