Primolut-Nor contains norethisterone acetate, the artificial equivalent of the natural female hormone (progesterone). Severe pain or swelling in the legs when using Primolut Nor are an indication for urgent consultation with a doctor, as they can be a signal of developing thromboembolism. Side effects of greater severity are observed during the first months of using hormone-containing tablets. The feeling of heavy legs may not be related to the medications you are taking, but to other factors, such as heat. To dispel doubts - I recommend consulting the attending physician.
