Skudexa and Diclovit belong to the same group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). In general, combining NSAIDs with each other is not advisable due to the increased risk of side effects, and at the same time does not increase the therapeutic effect on the patient. According to current medical literature, taking up to two different NSAIDs increases the risk of kidney or liver damage by as much as seven times. If the drugs were prescribed by the same doctor, please follow the dosage regimen exactly. If you want to combine the above drugs on your own, it is advisable to consult your doctor to determine whether these drugs can be used simultaneously and whether it is not necessary to change the dosage recommendations. A 6-hour interval between medications seems reasonable, except that it does not completely eliminate the interaction between the drugs. Concomitant oral use of Skudexa and Diclovit may result in increased side effects. Most often these are irritations and even bleeding of the mucous membrane of the gastrointestinal tract, especially if the patient suffers from peptic ulcer disease of the stomach or duodenum. The risk of other side effects also increases: changes in the skin, impaired liver and kidney function, decreased heart function, decreased blood clotting. If you experience nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhoea with blood, tarry stools, or other disturbing symptoms - please contact your doctor immediately.
