Good evening. How often can an ultrasound be performed? I am 10 days after gynecological laparoscopy. Can I already do an abdominal ultrasound and the next day a breast ultrasound. Won't it be too early and often? Please advise. Thank you in advance.

To @Dorota:
Treatment schemes and recommendations for gynaecologists can be found on the website of the Polish Society of Gynecologists and Obstetricians:
Where can I get detailed information about these standard rules of conduct?
The examination was performed with muscle tension, the doctor told me to lie on my hands pressed under my buttocks pressed into my fists on the 8th day after laparoscopy. He wasn't interested in my stitches, the nurses took them off. The doctor was indelicate.
Unfortunately, this standard procedure caused pain, which intensified after the examination and does not go away. The painkillers stopped working and it is worse than the day after laparoscopy. I don't intend to go to the gynaecologist, because he will do it again.

This is a standard way of deceiving and does not lead to injury.
Good morning. I'm on day 7 after laparoscopy and I came to have the stitches removed. The doctor also did a transvaginal ultrasound examination, I was not prepared for it. At the moment, I feel sore after this examination and I regret that I allowed the doctor to do the examination. Could it have caused any injury?

Ultrasound examination is non-invasive and safe for the patient, because it does not use - unlike e.g. X-ray or computed tomography - the potentially harmful effects of ionizing radiation. Ultrasound uses an ultrasonic wave - it has not been proven that the frequency and length used in diagnostic devices is dangerous. Therefore, there are no specific intervals between ultrasound examinations. However, it is difficult for me to answer whether 10 days after laparoscopy is not the right time for ultrasound. It depends on the purpose for which the examination is to be carried out and the appropriate date should be indicated by the doctor. From a practical point of view, I would point out that sometimes obtaining a good image requires pressing the head harder against the integuments of the body, and you are after the procedure in the abdomen - it seems to me that this aspect should also be taken into account. However, I do not think that there are contraindications to breast ultrasound. I enclose additional information: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/jak-przygotowac-sie-do-badan-obrazowych
