Which drug should I take - Limetic or Orgametril?
Hi, please advise because I was on the procedure to remove the polyp from the uterine body and when receiving the results the doctor informed me that I have to take medication and prescribed me limetic but I went to the doctor who directed me and prescribed me orgametril 2×1 from the 17th to the 26th day of the cycle and now I do not know what to take? Which drugs?

From a pharmaceutical point of view, I can answer that both one and the other preparation contain a substance from the progestin group. Limetic is a product with desogestrel, the registered indications are hormonal contraception, but perhaps in your case the doctor wants to use the effect on the endometrium. Orgametril contains lynestrol, used to regulate menstrual bleeding, but also with excessive hypertrophy of the endometrium.
