Yes, the next Orlifique tablet will be absorbed. These tablets contain levonorgestrel and ethinyl estradiol. According to the Summary of Product Characteristics, these substances reach their maximum concentration in the blood after 1-2 hours. Biasacodyl was taken after 8 hours, while the next contraceptive pill will be taken at 18, i.e. with an even greater time interval (16 hours) after taking Bisacodyl, so it will not affect the effectiveness of contraception.
