Is it possible to use ivermectin with an antibiotic?
I have been prescribed Posela by a parasitologist, but I got an infection and my GP prescribed me an antibiotic. Should I now wait some time after antibiotic therapy to start treatment with ivermectin? How long?

After injecting Ivermectin, do not use antibiotics or other antiparasitic treatment for about 14 days.

At the moment, there are no reports of possible interactions between ivermectin and the most commonly used antibiotics. If Posela therapy has been recommended by a specialist, a time interval between the end of antibiotic therapy and the start of ivermectin is not required.
