Does Silimax have the same composition as Sylimarol?

Hello. I take "shielding" on the liver Silimarol 70 mg. Today the lady in the pharmacy offered me Silimax 70 / hard capsules. Apparently, Silimax 70 mg has the same composition as the above-mentioned Sylimarol 70 mg. Is that the case? Best regards

Yes, the content of the active substance in both preparations is the same, i.e. 70 mg of silymarin. Possible differences may be found in the excipients, but they do not affect the effectiveness of the drug, but only its "form". Silimax excipients: lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, hydrolysed gelatin, red iron oxide (E 172), yellow iron oxide (E 172), black iron oxide (E 172), titanium dioxide (E 171). https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/76314/sylimarol-70-mg-drazetki/apteki Sylimarol excipients: sodium benzoate, glucose, potato starch, sucrose, talc, magnesium stearate, gum arabic, mixture of white beeswax and Carnauba wax (Capol 1295). https://www.gdziepolek.pl/produkty/71137/silimax-kapsulki/apteki More information about what drug substitutes are: https://www.gdziepolek.pl/artykuly/czym-sa-zamienniki-lekow
